"Art, the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination."

   For me a coping mechanism has always art. This year I worked on creating art, and focus on my feelings, emotions and self. I tapped into my creative mind, and expressed my raw emotional soul. People who use art as a theraputic outlet have an average increase in happiness of 8.1% and the highest jump being 36.7%. What does this mean? When you engage yourself artistically and use your imagination you can help regulate your blood pressure and your heart rate. It can be a form of meditation, self-care or just plain expression. Art is beautiful and every human being is an artist and has the potential to create and express themselves through art.
